Not quite sure what you want to do exactly, but if you want to “freeze” it, you could time shift to the frame you like, then use a sequence blend to animate a blend between the floaty version and the frozen one.

Hi Sean, Thanks for the tip. I am open to any more ideas, possibly using a matrix, @rest or @orient? However, a quick reference to the position of the static point seems to be a nice solution.
