Curve tools in Houdini are hard to use and not be updated for many many years.

That's at least a better curve SOP for humans to use.
Almost all curves in Houdini are not good enough. The Curve SOP, the curve ramp editor, etc.
So, will Sidefx finally realize how bad the curves in Houdini?

“Fine” seems to have varying definitions across the user base - probably depending much on the requirements of different fields of work or level of professionality or means of comparison.

I wholeheartedly agree.
Especially for motion design work I see big potential for all new curve tools and a new font sop.

Well, we can import curves from Adobe illustrator, but I don't have to say, that this is not the most direct or most procedural way to get things done.

Er…hello? Now all curves get an @localtransform matrix4 attribute for free. What else do you guys want?
