When I use Karma Houdini indie (18.5) switches to non commercial version ???
Any idea

Yep, same problem here. I was testing out the Karma updates and at some point when hitting ctrl-S my hiplc files turn into hipnc.

Is this with an old version? I recall there being issues with early versions of 18.0

Same problem here. Never had it before 18.5 though.

Same for me. The second I rendered Karma to Mplay the console said it switched to a non-commercial session.

Yep. Same thing happened here. right after I assigned a geometry path to a piece of geometry it switched.

Are render galleries working for you guys? I don´t know if It´s something to do with the non-commercial problem.

The first daily build of 18.5 has this issue fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You could try if the Orbolt Scene Upgrader still works

Hi Matt,

Any news on when this will make it into the non daily builds? I'm quite new to Houdini, so I don't want to be downloading often, I'd rather stick to a scheduled update if possible.

BTW. In just trying Karma out, what an excellent release so far, 4K preview rendering on the CPU, that's insane! Can't wait to see the GPU installment.
