I ended up taking my latest Nodevember entry way beyond nodes and proceduralism. Modeled and UV'd in Houdini, hand painted in Substance Painter and rendered both in Maya/Arnold and Houdini/3Delight. I took the models over to Maya for scene assembly so that's why I made an Arnold version. Got a lot of good tips in the 3Delight Discord while I worked. Had a ton of fun and learned a lot!

I love the new Vellum Brush so much. It's one of the slickest and most artist-friendly things SideFX has done.

Ha, knowing Houdini's power, I'm sure it's possible!
