Hey sorry for this very noob question. Is there a good workfkow / way to take very detailed mesh animations and bake them down so they will work in UE? Like animated maps on a low poly model or is there a better way ?
Thanks

Hey, could you give an example of what you need? Do you want a vertex animation or skeletal animation?

Thanks, Yes I have some very large ABC files that are animated mesh
What would be the best way to keep the detail in the mesh but also
UE should be able to handle a bounce of them
I have tried many things like trying to bake out all the maps
poly reduce each frame etc. but all gives bad result
So would love to hear what workflow would be the best?
Thanks
