"There was something so peculiar with this puzzle box I found in a small, dusty pawnshow back in Cairo, that I knew it would be a delightful gift for Georges. And indeed, he would soon take to it like a child to a new toy, spending the whole night trying to solve its secret. 'I can hear music inside!', he said to me this one time, I should have known better, and, then and there, thrown the dreaded thing into the Thames."
Amazing tool, again. A bit unerving at times - it's not perfect! - but the possibilities are insane. I strongly recommend working in steps, though, drop a clean, and resume with a new boxcutter.
I've heard booleans are great for caves so I wanted to play around with that idea. I used a combination of boxcutter along with noise and vdb operations to create something more organic. I endend up with a floating island/ asteroid vibe and did my best to stage it as an alien cave rave.
