Need help with unreal instances

Hi, I’m following Simon Verstraete’s Sci-Fi builder tutorial: https://www.sidefx.com/tutorials/sci-fi-level-builder/ [www.sidefx.com] though while he’s doing it for Houdini to Unity, I’m doing it with Unreal. The issue I’m having is that the models/ blueprints that I’m referencing as Unreal instances are not orienting themselves according to the normals that I’ve set in Houdini, but rather are set to the rotation of the blueprint in unreal. How do I get the unreal instance attribute in Houdini to orient according to the normals I’ve set?
For reference, the part wherein he does it in the tutorial is at part 2 4:42, except as mentioned before he does it with unity.
