An ordered group seems to remember the order of selection when I created it. But how could I reorder it? Sort SOP changes the actual point numbers. Is it possible to reorder points inside an ordered group without changing their point numbers?

I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do?
Being ordered or not in the group field doesn't really matter does it?
The points group attr is either 1 or 0, could you explain what you are trying to do?

It seems that Weld feature of Vellum Drape takes the ordering into account. I already have two groups that I want to weld together, but their orders are messed up.



This is not my actual scene ofc, but that's the problem I've encountered. Ordering does matter in this case.
