Hello!
I love using Houdini and was wondering what the spiral logo stands for.
Is it like a tornado or hurricane? Or swirly smoke?

I'd love to know what the idea of the Houdini logo spiral came from.

Maybe a bit far fetched but, I always wondered if the logo spiral was influenced by the start of the yellow road in the wizard of oz.

It could be anything, like galaxy spirals, spiral forces in nature, but probably not the (Linux/GNU) Debian logo.

Interested in character concepts, modeling, rigging, and animation. Related tool dev with Py and VEX.
