I'm following this guide to "KineFX Rigging with APEX". Video 6 "Parms" at 6mins.

I'm trying to use the Attribute Adjust Dictionary to promote the rotation of a joint so that it becomes a control in the APEX Auto Rig Component further down the line.

It's not working for some reason. I see that the attribute is listed in the geo spreadsheet, so it is being created OK. And switching on "rpromotegroup" in the APEX Auto Rig Component activates the control.

What am I doing wrong here?

Tags are array attributes, note dict. Once you have a tag, you need to specify it using the %tag(<tagname>) expression. Maybe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwUg9fuFkic [www.youtube.com] helps explains things.
