Hi, does anyone know how to rig a conveyor belt or tank threads in APEX? In SOPs, I’d use a wiredeform, but I don’t think there’s an equivalent for that in APEX yet. I tried using rig::CurveConstraint, but it doesn’t seem to give the same result as a wiredeform. Any ideas? Will a wiredeform be added to APEX?

Please log an RFE for making Wire Deform compilable. How are you animating the rotation? There might be some ways to procedurally rebuild the belt directly inside APEX but I haven't tried. There might be other SOPs which we need that aren't compilable.

as seen in the picture the transform1 rotates on the z axes. I included the file. so yes apex misses wire capture and wire deform.
Idk if my method is the best(probably not:P) I was just trying to redo the technique I've seen in many Maya tutorials for this use case.
In APEX if there was a wiredeform I would caputure geo the belt to one joint that i would rotate and after the bonedeform i would add a wirecaputre and wiredeform. i've log an RFE
