A stack of these could make for a decent small Karma renderfarm! Assuming the software ran on what I assume will be ARM Linux.

It's a custom version of Ubuntu with nVidia DGX stuff added.
Anyone know whether Houdini gets along well with Ubuntu in general?
Maybe Karma but not Vulkan, in which case it could potentially be a nice and compact render node?

That would certainly put a crimp in the feasibility of using DIGITS for Houdini... unless it's possible to get Windows on ARM running on it.
Agreed regarding the Ryzen AI Max; the GPU will probably work well for Vulkan, but only Redshift supports AMD GPUs for rendering AFAIK.
I keep hoping that will change, mainly because AMD's GPUs are available with larger memory configurations than nVidia's, but in the near future that doesn't seem promising.
However, all of the computers that I know of that are built around Strix Halo also have at least one TB4 port for eGPU support. Most look like they have two or more, probably since they don't need to use any internal PCI lanes for a GPU since they're eschewing the discrete GPU option.
