This is definitely a newbie question, but I've got an attribute VOP applying some noise to animated geometry, and the noise is "swimming" over the geo when it moves. From what I've gathered, I know that I need a rest attribute, but I'm not sure how/where to apply it in my stream. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

you need to apply the rest node to your stream before the animation is applied. Or use a timeshift set to frame 1 (or whatever) and use that as the second input on the rest node. In vop, you take the rest attribute as your input for the noise instead of P.

Hi,

you must feed the rest position into your noise instead of P, check the attached hip file.
