My first steps into houdini modeling:

I have made an extrusion 2 times and after that I want to scale the poly face along the normal direction. I have tried different things but without a solution.

The handle is not oriented correctly and the align handle function also doesn't help

Use PolyExtrude.

Maybe I havn't described it very well.

After modeling an object with lots of extrusions and tweaks and so on, it must be possible to tweak individual polys with the handle oriented correctly.

even the poly extrude handle isn't alligned correctly. If I scale it down on just one axis.

I think the only way is to detach your Edit handle, do orientation picking, and then attach again.

Hi.

I know this is old topic. But there is really no Normal Axis in Houdini. We really need this Axis for modeling.

Modo, Blender, 3dMax, Maya have NormalAxis during modeling.
