after installing houdini apprentice 13.5 (the latest version), i can't launch the application by all the means. after double clicking on it nothing happens.

i tried the older version of 12 but it's not stable at all. when using version 12 and try to create a box it crashes giving me the message of

8264: fatal error: segmentation Fault

and it shuts down. this happens (with the same message) always with any other simple creation or alteration of some regular objects happens.

please help me as this prohibit me from using the app at all.
