Hit a road block & would like to utilize a custom named color list stored in Apple's Color Picker but noticed I can't call up its menu from Houdini's color chooser palette. My Cheetah 3D app doesn't have this limitation & thus I just can't believe an extraordinary and highly advanced Houdini doesn't have this convenience.

I've attempted to convince myself that switching back and forth typing in the RGB values is all I need to do however it quickly became rather tedious and more time consuming to reuse the colors from the list because Houdini doesn't appear to have the ability to name each color for quicker reference (I understand others may have a totally different workflow approach to choosing & reusing color so I respect that aspect) but I'm praying that I've simply over looked something in Houdini, such as a parameter for loading the color chooser “general.colorchooser{native os default}.pref” or something?

Does anyone know what the Pros use for their pre-built color swatch library?

Is there an external app that can be used for importing color swatches or color palette into Houdini?

This is not necessarily OS X specific, but has anyone been successful at getting Houdini's color palette to store a name string with each new color created?

Has anyone been successful at using the HAPI to open their Linux/Windows or Mac OS Native Color Picker instead of Houdini's color chooser? If so then what script did you use, if you don't mind sharing?

I've also attempted MMB drag on a color to import the new values but didn't work as stated by other post.
