Loading Environment Map

How do I load an environment map into the Env Light. I keed getting:

mantra: Unable to load texture

But the path to the texture is okay… I also tried the hip and permanent path. No luck.

It's exr.

exr's work - you most likely have a bad path as the ‘Show sequences as one entry’ is checked by default in the File Browser - that make any number in the filename a $F

and avoid any spaces in the path and file name

Try to load that file in COPs to check whether image file is nor corrupt.

You can also load an environment map directly from COPs using:
op

path/to/cop
