Detached Network Pane Errors

Hi guys
I'm trying out the Demo of Houdini and I've run into a glitch and was wondering if anyone else had experienced it.
I like to work on two displays so I customised the interface by detaching the Network pane to have it fill my second display. However, it's functionality became glitchy and only started working again when it was a fixed tab in its original position. There were a number of bugs, but the most notable were:
I couldn't add new nodes - I could press tab and see the menu, but if I selected one it wouldn't appear.
I couldn't always edit the existing nodes. For example, I had a geometry node. I tried to load in an OBJ but it didn't appear in the viewport. When I re-docked the network tab it worked again.
Has anyone else experience this? I'm loathed to pay for the full version if I'm not able to use a 2 display interface.
Cheers
Bob

Please see attached jpeg for details. I'm on 14.0.291
I've just tried to mimic my problems and the same thing happened. Network tree totally unusable on second monitor.
Thanks for you help.

Thanks! I was able to reproduce the problem - it occurs when you use ‘Tear off Pane Tab’ Please submit a bug in the Support menu above.

In the meantime try using ‘Tear off Pane Tab Copy’ and it should work. You can then close the docked pane if you wish.

Hi Marty
Great, I'm glad it's not just me or my set up. Thanks for your time and consideration. I'll open a tech ticket. Cheers. B
