Is it possible to turn off the display of wireframes in UV view? I need to see more clearly if there are no overlapped or inverted uvs, and wireframe just gets in the way.

I don't believe there is, but you can see the overlapping polygons by turning on “UV Overlap” in the Display Options, Markers tab. Polygons with overlapping UVs are highlighted in red.

I have this and UV Backfaces options turned on, but the mesh is quite dense so it's difficult to spot those little coloured faces while zoomed-out in this jungle of white wires (and it hurts my eyes just to look at it). I'll probably end up inspecting UVs as usual - from a much greater zoom, but this can be time consuming if you have multiple UDIM tiles and many islands to go through. Hence I though I'd ask.

You can reduce the wireframe thickness with Display Options/Geometry Wire Width.

Thanks. I forgot about this. Tweaking down the thickness of a wireframe helps a lot.
