Firstly, sorry for no hip file, but it's a bit complex one relying on external geometry and the picture should show what I'm on about.

I have a wire sim and I set variables for the sim on a per point basis, you can see in the attached image that there is a point that should not be rigid but it is (the values shown are for kangular and dampangular).

Am I missing something obvious?

And I think the reason is that the values are just still too large, as small as they are
Problem is that I need them that high to initally keep the shape of the object.

Is there another way to maintain a shape or set a sort of ‘target shape’ for the wires to try and conform to?

Bump. I've been experiencing similar issues, where only a few points on my collection of curves don't bend. Can't find a solution anywhere. Changing parameters can avoid the problem, but changes the motion, which won't work.
