I've created a smaller sample file to duplicate a problem I am having.

When I have a parameter that is driven by an export node that in turn was driven by a wave node I am unable to get that resulting numerical value to display in a parameter of a digital asset.

In the uploaded file the “destination” parameter is the circles tx value of its Centre parameter.

There is no problem in getting it to display through any kind of reference in a newly created parameter prior to creating an asset from the file.

But once the asset is created and in the “Editor Operator Type Properties” dialogue window in the “Parameters Folder”; either through dragging and dropping or creating a new parameter combined with a reference, neither way works in preserving the “link” so that it displays in the final asset when used.

Any help is appreciated in finding a way to be able to display a driven parameter like this.

P.S. Just a further edit to my original post. for those who haven't used wave nodes…When you import this asset, through the combination of values altered of both the offset and amplitude will create the desired change in the circles x position. However, in this case I want that positions value to be displayed, which should be so in the assets 3rd paramter of “Test Parameter Transfer” tab.
