Hi all, after days of tinkering general way all aspects of production, creating dynamic small fire and smoke, odd animation, and other aspects of CGI, I've realized that I love the part of FX, especially fluids.

So I have a question quite large and since I've noticed really soon, I want to ask you some questions:

1 If I want to dedicate myself to be a specialist in fluid VFX ARTIST, where I have to start ?. I thought about starting with Houdini and dominate the whole issue of particle dynamics and, as is claimed more about FX with Maya.

On the other hand, I commented, not whether it is true that Real Flow is the elite for simulations of fluids and not sure if I have to also get involved with the ..
I know it's very intense and so I'll have to spend many hours a day, thankfully I have and I am where I start motivado..pero ?.
I get filled with Houdini and Real Flow ?.
I have to learn Maya?

2 Once the basics of the programs can learn and do more or less interesting, as the 1st reel of FX specialized arises? Simply simulation with different visions and the final render? No matter the level of detail of the models, etc?

P.D: I have a general domain with LW.

A greeting.
