Hi,

I am running OS X 10.7

I am testing out 13.0.509 but have older version of Houdini installed and have had difficulty in the past to do a clean uninstall (color wheel keep spinning).

When I tried to do a simple render with 13.0.509, I get multiple pop up dialog.

It doesn't look like you're running the mplay from 13.0.376 though. Check your path and hconfig output. Make sure you only have paths pointing to ONE installation of Houdini.

I did a check. I only have one path (to 509)

My current work around is to start Mplay independently and put it into listening mode and Houdini 509 Mantra no longer tries to launch another mplay and renders to the existing mplay.

This is good enough for me at them moment.

I'm getting these with 13.0.509 on OSX 10.9. No other H13 present.
If I click the reel icon the Image viewer (Mplay) icons pops into the dock, bounces a few times and ends with popping these three dialogs.

Sounds a bit familiar and may be related to Bug ID=63466

Try moving aside these directories if they exist (make sure Houdini/mplay/hython/etc is not running anywhere first):

- $HOME/Library/Preferences/houdini/13.0
- $HOME/houdini13.0

Removing the preferences didn't help.

I hear that this was fixed in 13.0.538.
