Setting Capture Region Parameter Doesn't Work

I'm trying to set the Capture Region parameters from the Bones > Capture tab but it is not working. The capture region remains the same.
See my attached examples:
Attachment 1) This is the initial stage with the Capture Bot Height set to 0.332441
Attachment 2) If I change the parameter to 0.5 note that the Capture Region in the viewer remains exactly the same as the default.
Attachment 3) If I change it via the handles in the viewport, then they both work correctly. The parameters reflects the changes in the viewport.
Is there something I'm doing wrong or is this another bones bug?
(see my previous thread about not being able to set Bone Rest Angles https://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_forum&Itemid=172&page=viewtopic&t=34523 [sidefx.com] )
Thank you!

It seems to work for me when I modify the Deform Region tab parameters with Display Capture Geometry enabled.
You are right… to some extent.
I didn't check “Display Capture Geometry” because I'm not used to working with it. I prefer the see through controls if possible as I'm working with a lot of bones close together (mouth rig).
Having said this, I found that with the “Display Capture Geometry”, if you change the parameters, you have instant feedback in the viewport.
With the regular capture geometry wireframe type controls, you have to deselect the bone, then reselect it again to see the changes on the parameter reflected in the viewport.
Could be some bone display problems in the viewport as I was having another bone display issue as well ( https://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_forum&Itemid=172&page=viewtopic&t=34523 [sidefx.com] )
Update: Definitely a Bone update issue in the viewport as I have bones disappearing now. If I modify their length or something else about them, they magically reappear

I've tried this on 2 computers, just to eliminate the possibility of other problems.
It's a new file with just one single bone in it. If you note the axis of the bones in the fist screenshot as compared to the second, you'll see that in the viewport they look identical even though I've rotated the bone -45 in the second.
There are also other weird display options in regards to the bones in the viewport.

You don't happen to have the viewport in either “manual” cooking mode, in one of the object viewport override modes enabled? In the lower-right corner menu (on the status bar) of the interface, make sure it says auto. In the main menu, Edit > Objects menu, make sure it's set the same as the machine that works.

I have the same problem on both machines I'm testing on.
Auto-Update is on and it still doesn't work.
I'm including screenshots of what I see. I'm in the Object > Ik Rest and you'll note that even though parameters are changed, they don't reflect in the viewport.
Once in a blue moon they will work when I punch in a number and I see the bone reflect that. But in the very next second, if I change that nr, it doesn't work anymore and remains at the previous value in the viewport.
Maybe I'm missing another setting somewhere that updates the viewer…

I think that's the problem then? Set it to Edit > Objects > None
Hello Edward,
Maybe I don't understand this right, but how would I set the rest bone angles with Edit > Objects > None ?
Don't I have to have Objects > IK Rest to see them?
I'm trying to spin a bone rig around and it keeps flipping.
