Hello everyone!
I have been using Houdini Apprentice for quite some time. I´m a student and I make some tests with it.

In the past I always have been able to save my geometry to OBJ from network view with right click.
Then I installed Yosemite and reinstalled my Apprentice to 13.0.582.

Tried to save my geometry to OBJ and other formats, it creates the file but it´s empty.
Also in the past when I saved my geometry Houdini stayed opened, now after saving Houdini exits.
Anyone with problems with this? Did the new apprentice versions don´t allow to save geometry?
Thanks for your time

I am using Yosemite and the same version of Apprentice as you and I have no problems saving geometry out to an obj file. It reads fine when I create a geo node and bring the obj back into Houdini. I don't know what is happening with you but my only comment would be to say try starting Houdini from the terminal. Type happrentice to launch Houdini.

I have heard that Yosemite is making quite a few problems for mac users with Houdini. The advice of starting Houdini from Terminal was given to me so you might want to try that out and see if it sorts your issues if you have not already done so.

Try running houdini from houdini.shell instead of the default terminal so that the houdini environment is set properly.

Thanks guys, I had already read about Yosemite and Houdini problems, but never expected happening to me. So launching Houdini Apprentice from “Houdini Shell.terminal” is really useful. Not very friendly but we have to deal with it.
Thanks again from your help.
