Hi there,

Sorry if this is a super basic question 'cause I am new to houdini. Just wondering why this might happen, when I create a basic primitive, it starts off with normals facing the wrong way…

It seems fine if I put a reverse node in but it seems wrong.
What did I do to break it?

THanks,
Pete

If it's OSX and Intel graphics, this is a driver bug.

Good point!
Houdini is right-handed, so maybe one these LH-series monitors would do the trick http://www.elive.co.nz/samsung-lh-320bx-commercial-display-T26078.php [elive.co.nz]

Ah crap! So it doesn't like either of the graphics cards in this system
Well I guess I can handle reversing stuff while i'm learning…

Would an older version (like 13) be less picky with the graphics card?
