I am using Houdini Indie on windows7.
I am trying to render on the amazon EC2 cloud.

Is it even possible with a Indie License ?

it should be possible…. you will also have the same render limitations….

By render limitations , do you mean resolution limitation ? or the“ one mantra token only” limitation ?

you can use so many render nodes how you want…. but more the 20 machines are overkill….

Probably a stupid question, but is it possible (with the indie licence) to just setup two PCs at home for network rendering? Or do I have to by a licence for every PC Houdini is installed?

You have to buy another license to do that.

You can buy an engine license which is cheaper and that way you can render on the other computer - but you can't run Houdini itself as it's just a render node. You can have as many as 3 render nodes and 3 interactive licenses.

That's my understanding anyway.
