What Houdini version are you running? The screenshot suggests to me that you're running with software OGL and H13 or earlier. H14 works well with Intel GPUs (though there was a period of Intel drivers that had a broken GLSL compiler which caused geometry to disappear). The Intel drives w/Win10 seems to have solved that problem, though the latest Intel drivers for Win7-8 may also have that fix.
