Is there a way to create automatically create a new edit node after an exitsting edit node while modelling?
What I mean is creating some kind of modelling history for edits instead of having one editnode to store all edits until I select another tool?
I know I can create nodes manually but that is quit incinvenient. I would prefer something like an editnode being created when I hold maybe a modifier key when dragging a point or soemthing. Is it possible? Whithout having to create a tool or asset or script?

Press ‘Q’.

“Q” won't work.
Example: I create a polgon sphere, switch to primitve and translate some polygons. Pressing “Q” will generate another sphere instead of adding another edit node.

Hit Enter before you hit Q.

H15:

“Changed
When you're working in the Edit, UV Edit, or brush tools, the Q (Repeat current operation) and ⇧ Shift + Q (Branch and repeat current operation) hotkeys will now create a new node instance.”
