Honestly, anything is great! I'm finding that the hardest thing for beginners in the industry or in animation college is that they don't understand that a background in animation and modeling helps them in visual effects. Or that they can jump from an animation background, to an FX environment with their skills. I like to think that VFX is not just the icing on any production, but rather is a good goal to push yourself towards. I already have a recommend list of resources, and I've added this to them for my mentees.
