Hi All

Is there a way to control the gas turbulence of a volume with single axis control? I'm trying to create a swirly fog/cloud but I'm can't figure out how to limit the Y turbulence.
All I want is to reduce the influence of the turbulence vertically.
Any ideas welcome!

Cheers

I don't know if I am too late but what you can do is create a custom velocity that mainly spreads your cloud/fog outwards from the center and you can give very little turbulence that doesn't take your smoke up or down in Y, add a bit of disturbance to break the edges

Ha thanks, not too late at all. I'm still figuring things out.
I'll have to look into the custom velocity fields, that sounds a little advanced but also exactly what I'm looking for
