I recently followed a tutorial where a digital asset is made with controls and imported in Unreal but the problem is I don't see any controls in Unreal.

How can I fix this?

What version of Houdini / UE4 are you on?
Do you have any errors in the logs file?

Not having parameters/inputs generally implies that the plugin failed to initialize HAPI/HoudiniEngine.

I tried the hda on my side and it imports fine with a recent UE4/H.

I am using Houdini 18.0.287 and unreal 4.22.3.
I am new to houdini and stuff… so I wouldn't know where to find the logs file..

I tried to start Houdini engine debugger and it said:

ERROR: Houdini Engine cannot be used with a Houdini Apprentice license

So I can't use digital assets in Unreal with the Apprentice license..?or can I?

Unfortunately, that's correct, you cant use apprentice with Houdini Engine / UE4 plugin…

“Houdini Digital Assets created in Apprentice can not be used with Houdini Engine or Houdini Engine Indie”
