hi guys,
so im trying to do a effect where a Bee will always face towards a point(target)
i found a tutorial that teaches you how to make the normal always points towards a target (an image of the script is attached), is there a similar way to make the head of the bee face towards the point all the time?
or any way to make the bee head always follow the point?
Thank you very much!
how to make a Geo always face a certain direction?

Moin,
have you tried using a “lookat”-constraint? If I understand correctly, what you want to do is exactly the same as having a camera always looking at a specific point, so you should be able to find tutorials on “camera lookat constraint”.

Here is an example file of using a separate Object Null as the target geometry.
The file packs the Bee geometry.
Uses a Primitive SOP's object target to do the transform
Follow with an unpack SOP to get back to the geometry.
Moving the null will aim the geometry.

There's at least one school like the old school!
