Are there any docs available regarding this subject? I loose a lot of time typing in pathes and infos in order to save these previews from the mplay window. A script in the toolbar which could do this automatically and press the save button in one go would be a huge workflow help.
Anybody who can point me in the right direction?
Cheers
Tom

The only way I found was by executing Python via the MainMenuMplay.xml (its not called exactly that).
You can call a Hscript function to save your current Mplay sequence there.
Hope this helps.

Hah, fun coincidence, I am looking for python in mplay for the same reason.
Would be lovely to not have to type in all the infos each time in mplay.
Yes you can simply create your own flipbook button which writes files each time, set up with your prefs, but I'm not interested in writing out every flipbook to disk.
From my bit of digging, it does not appear that you can easily mess with mplay sessions from the main Houdini shell after the fact.
You can get a list of open and linked mplay sessions, ( see link below ) but I have not found anything on how to use this info to actually do anything.
