I was getting an error from the other thread, so I posted here. I'm not sure if it's too late but here it is anyway.

Some text from the appendix of Flow by Csikszentmihalyi projected onto and distorted by the terrain. It didn't quite turn out how I hoped but I learnt some things.

I spent too much type messing around making them all look at the nearest one in their field of view. I wish I'd given them eyelids so they could blink when changing look targets. I wanted to emulate something like creatures in the game Loco Roco.

3rd Party » Creature Features Wing HDA
- FFD

My original plan was to make a creature modelling hda but I decided to create separate HDAs for different features as it was getting too complicated. I'm hoping to release this HDA soon. I based this largely on the wings of bats with some additional features common to dragons and demons.
The hda is mainly designed for low to mid poly modelling when a lot of iterations would be helpful. It assumes that later on in the process the artist will delete half the model and mirror it so the wing is only generated on one side. It currently outputs a mesh with the wing attached, meshes of bones inside the wing and poly-line curves. The curves will be useful for rigging using kinefx but I haven't got that far yet. I also intend to add muscles at some point but I'm not sure if there will be enough interest to warrant it.
I'd appreciate any opinions on the following questions:
Hypothetically how much you would pay for it if you were to buy it on Gumroad or similar.?
How much value would be added by having a procedural rig for the wing generated by the asset?
How much value would be added by having a muscle system for the wing generated by the asset?
Do you think a full set of creature generating hdas(sort of equivalent to the tree nodes in Houdini) would be a worthwhile long term project?
Thanks for your attention.

A bit late but I'll post anyway just in case the issue comes up for others.
It should just work with them all selected without requiring any scripts.
There was a bug relating to this, it was fixed in 18.5.408 but I'm not sure what version it started. If it still doesn't work then send an RFE.

I made this video showing the ODtools Light placer working with 3Delight viewport rendering, sorry for the terrible quality. I don't normally make videos but this was too good a combination of things not to tell people about.

Sometimes the pacing in video tutorials can be either way too fast or slow depending on what's going on.
These are really good if you prefer to an ebook to videos, the one with exercises is a good structure for learning instead of just following along with a tutorial: https://gumroad.com/jhorikawa [gumroad.com]

I'm not sure what exactly you are talking about with this one, if it's the same issue as commenting on a parameter why create another forum thread? Otherwise sticky notes work in the network view. Could you explain this more clearly?

There is a hotkey you can set for Current Node Info, if you search for info in the hotkey editor you will find it. It doesn't work for me for some reason, maybe due to some custom toolsets I have installed. Can you try it? if it doesn't work submit an RFE.
It's not exactly what you are looking for but you can setup another geometry spreadsheet click on detail and choose the Intrinsics you want to view. It's mostly the same information as the info panel just not as well presented.

If it's a hda you are making you can add tooltips when you mouse over the parameter. You can find out more about this here: https://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini/help/nodes.html#parameters-section [www.sidefx.com]
You can also do this if you are editing the parameter interface on any node via right click parameter>edit parameter interface
The help field is at the bottom when you select a parameter

My late entry and only entry for Nodevember, I wish I could have participated more but unfortunately I was a little time poor. Making little setups like this is one of my favorite things.
This setup is fully procedural, the size of the tray, number of cookies, the shape of the cookies and amount of cracks are all adjustable via parameters.
The dough melts and cooks into the classic cookie shape but don't worry they will never touch each other or the sides of the pan.

Thanks everyone, it was a great challenge and learning experience. Not just for technical skills but also honing artistic skills. I felt I improved my composition, lighting and time management throughout this month. I've always wanted to finish a daily challenge but this is the first time I've managed to complete a full month. I'm looking forward to the next challenge!

Heating metal using electromagnetism. Video is still rendering, I'm posting now just in case it isn't done in time.
Thanks sidefx and everyone who participated. I've learnt so much this month it feels like some kind of boot camp. After 31 days I've finally learnt to abuse depth of field and post processing to compensate for rushed work. Just kidding, sort of.
