I was looking for this topic with no success. Maybe it is just my workflow I do not know but I need help.
I am rendering a quite simple particles setup using POPs
Till they reach first dead of particles the motion blur in KARMA is fine, but once a partciles starts die, weird motion blur is happening.
Can someone explain me please what I am doing wrong? Thank you.
You can see it in attached hip file.
Life expectancy is set up for 2 seconds.
On frame 48 everything is still fine
On frame 49 strange motion blur is happening
Offtopic: This happend to me before, when I exported particles H19.5 to Blender and wanted to use velocity attribute to drive motion blur...

Hi all,
I have quite simple setup using Gobo Light Filter, but at the Frame 208,209,210 the Gobo turns out and on the next frame gobo is back again. I do not know what is going on. Can someone help me. Attached is the set up. Hopefully everything works. I have put all textures and and maps to the /tex/ folder and other materials are coming from AMD MatX Library.

I am creating a simple feather system, currently the tint color is green /see screenshot/. I would like the material read the feather color attribute from SOP, but once I input Cd or displayColor to geometry color material builder the feathers are black. I tried different setups like inputing the displayColor instaed of Cd but the feathers tint is still black. The tint as such can be changed but once I input anything the color is always black Am I doing something wrong?

So, I was watching tutorial from Paul Esteves https://www.sidefx.com/tutorials/h19-nodes/ [www.sidefx.com] and in section 08 Pyro Solver he created multicolored Pyro sim with attribute adjust color node, but for me its impossible figure out a way to get these color attributes in to the pyroshader and render it out with Karma, could anybody give me a hint how to do it? I tried prim var reader to read the Cd and displayColor and various attributes but still got nothing. Any hint or idea is appreciated.

Hi, I have setup /see the images and file below/ where I would like to change MatX fractal position over time in KARMA CPU /so the displacement would look like it is moving/, previously with principle shaders or another shaders I would do this in material builder and connect parameter "Time" to position because VOPs are not time dependend or whatever that failure message was so you had to build time dependent shader in material builder with parameter, but you can not paste MatX to mat builder,so is there any work around or trick how to do this please?
Another thing is disconnected edges with displacement i found that if normals are changed rapidly this disconnecting will disappear this is how it should be done or I am missing something also?

Use USDrender ROP set Renderer to RPR and Output image to desired path with .exr

Is there an easy way to render .rpr to .exr on Windows, cant figure out a way. I am not dev but would really like to try this. Thank you.
