The 496.x Studio Drivers do not work with the new curve tool rounded corner pucks. They can't be grabbed to adjust the roundness along with the other new interactive features of the curve tool.

Pointclouds were created with Houdini and displayed in web form with Potree [www.potree.org]. Coloring comes from Substance Painter and the white/grey matter is from actual MRI data.
You can view it here on my website [www.todddurant.com]. Load times can take a minute or two depending on connection speeds.
This was one of the most enjoyable projects I've worked on and I just wanted to show that Houdini and for that matter LIDAR data can be used outside their traditional domains.

I started an environment for the little monsters to run through before they get to the mud pit. I'm probably not going to have the render power to render an HD animation. This frame took 2 hours on my machine.

Just thought I'd change the subject line to avoid multiple posts.
I just watched the Instancing tutorial on the SideFX website and thought I'd take a shot at a Lee Griggs style render, and wow, is it tough to even get remotely close to his artistry.

Just playing this weekend exploring Houdini Crowds. The character is from Autodesks Character Generator, animated in Motionbuilder and exported into Houdini as an FBX.

Hello, I have an object sequence and I need some help controlling when the sequence is played back. I've tried some expressions in the file sop but nothing seems to work. Can someone point me where to a solution? Thanks!

Thanks for your help JColdrick. Your reply led me to get it working. I set the sopgeo1 - Sop Path to default,and the time to always. Then I went into the geometrycopy1 and set the Default Operation setting to Always. And everything looks great…WooHoo!

I set the playback to the start position and hit play. I checked that playback is set to play all frames, but I'm still not getting deformations on the boxes. I attached the file for all to look at. Thanks.

Hello all, I'm going through the gas solver tutorials in the SideFX site and I can't seem to figure out why I can't get the geometry(boxes) to deform. When I load in the provided scene: (5.create_gas_solver_gas_nondivergent.hip)
and uncheck the bypass flag for the applydata node, the boxes deform great, but if I recheck the flag and uncheck it again, the deformation is gone. How do I get Houdini to update properly? Thanks

I created a length of chain and used the fracture dop for the simulation…everything simulates great.
next I wanted to add more chain links…so I changed settings within chain object to add the desired chain links.
The problem is once I hit the play button my geometry disappears. How do get the simulation to read my updated geometry?

Hello all, I've attached a file where I'm copying a sphere along a path and would like to have gravity act upon different spheres at different times. In the file, I'm animating a resample nodes segments but I can't get gravity to act on any new geometry. Can someone point me in a new/different direction to do the effect? Thanks!
