Hi,
From what I can tell, the Bend's capture region keeps those end faces in their original orientation as it bends the rest of the geometry, which is where it leaves those triangular ends on your wall corners.
An option might be to use a Grid and do the same Bend operation on it, but then Extrude to the wall's thickness.

Using Python in an open Houdini session, the function putenv() can set the env variable value, which can basically overwrite the existing one.
