Turns out the dailies were only visible to the 1200 or so customers on our beta program. It's fixed now.

No linux builds happened today, but on the plus side - we got donuts.
I think that's really what's important here.

Btw, just a suggestion, but I've run into a large number of people that have never heard of the acronym ‘RFE’ before, so perhaps it's worth sticking it in brackets once in that procedure post?

We'll be looking into Windows 7, but as it's not even released yet, it is not supported. As far as Windows goes, your best bet is windows XP 64bit.
Thanks for letting us know about it though!

How to log bugs and rfe's (sugs) for Houdini
--------------------------------------
Option #1
-----------
If you are up to date on your AUP (Annual Upgrade Plan) you can have direct access to our database in order to log bugs and rfe's and view the current status of your bugs. If you don't already have access, please contact your Sales Representative and they'll help you get set up and provide you with all the details. This is by far the fastest and most effective way of getting your issue into the hot little hands of the developers.
https://www.sidefx.com/services [www.sidefx.com]
Option #2
----------
You can e-mail your bug or rfe to support@sidefx.com. They will review your issue prior to submitting it into our database and may contact you if they require more information.
Option #3
----------
You can also submit your bug using our online form at sidefx.com > Support > Submit Bugs and RFEs:
http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=768&Itemid=239 [www.sidefx.com]
No matter which of these three options you use, there are a few key pieces of information that we need to know:
What platform you're on (XP, Vista, Linux, OSX) (32 bit or 64 bit)
What version of Houdini you're using. (eg. 10.0.254)
Steps on how to reproduce the bug with scene file or images if necessary.
Giving us info on your graphics card and driver is also helpful, especially if the bug you're logging is a display or OpenGL related issue.
Posting to the forums is NOT how you should log bugs. They aren't tracked by Support or QA and there's no guarantee that anyone from SESI will see it. Sometimes a SESI person may be lurking in the forums and may even respond, but don't count on it. The forums are really for peer support and questions of other users. We have a great bunch of really helpful and knowledgeable users out there and they may help you out, but if you have an issue that needs attention from someone at SESI, posting it in the forums is definitely not the way to go about it. If you have a BUG or an RFE, you should use option 1, 2, or 3 to let us know.
Thanks for your co-operation!

Hidey ho! I thought it would be nice to have a forum where you could post your artwork in progress and get it critiqued by others.
Once you feel it's good to go, feel free to submit it to our gallery. [www.sidefx.com]
Obviously it should be an image or video created using Houdini and it should be something that you're legally allowed to post here.

As you can imagine, a lot of folks are coming to our website right now and we're experiencing a really high volume of hits, making things slow down considerably. If you get an error msg loading the page or accessing licensing, it's likely due to this high volume. I expect things to ease up in a couple days but in the meantime, the refresh button on your browser and some patience are your friends. Hope you're all enjoying the videos!

Personally I'd like to see flying sharks, that are on fire, with pirates riding on them. I think I saw that in a book report on ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’.
I don't know if that would impress anyone but me, so take that advice with a grain of salt.
Apparently dragons, orcs, laser beams, and Fonzi make for pure awesomeness as well.
Now some of these ‘experts’ might say something like, ‘You should tailor your reel for the kind of job you’re going after.' or ‘Only show your very best work’ or ‘Don’t use the music from the Pirates of Penzance ‘cause I’m just going to turn the sound off anyways' and ‘keep it short’, but pffft….what do they know?
Orcs and laserbeams! That's what people wanna see!
(and flaming sharks)

We stole the french word ‘Naïve’ for that.
I was going to throw ‘going in bears hole with wood gun’ into a google translator, but I was afraid something dirty might come out.

Very fun.
But again start thinking about my choice - 3D graphics.
I think this choice, some years ago, was some wrong (i don`t know how said in english about “stupid+smile+quick” - some like small boy,who going in bears hole with wood gun).
The percent of insanely in this industry, is extremely high.

1. Known bug - we're working on a fix.
2. Can you send me a hip file? It's instantaneous for me.
3. I'll check it out - anything particular you're finding laggy when using a wacom? i.e. clicking on menu items, clicking and dragging, selecting? I have heard of wacom issues on other platforms as well. Just want to see if there's a pattern or anything specific that it's slow at.
4. I save files all the time and I've never hit this one. I'll check it out.
5. If you have any crash logs from these crashes, please send 'em my way.
Thanks!

The fact that it's there in the bottom right hand corner of the viewport all the time has actually saved our users and us a LOT of headaches. It's helpful, not ‘obnoxious’, and it's unlikely to change.
