Thanks. So later you'll have an updated version of the script? I think the default hotkeys should be :
undo: ALT+Z
redo: ALT+CTRL+Z
I think ALT+Y is already taken by a Houdini function: the performance monitor.

Click each shelf button? You mean some customized shelf buttons, or each and every shelf buttons?
I unzipped the folders "packages" and "viewhistory" inside the folder : Documents\..\Sidefx\houdini19.0 , is this correct?
Do I still have to edit the file 456.py as you shown?
Thanks
David

Wow thanks!
I'd like to install this.
In my "houdini19.0" prefs folder, I added a folder called "packages".
Then if I understand correctly I must put your code into a text file and rename it something as "camundo.json"?
Then I must edit 456.py as you shown.
Then if I want to test it, what's the keyboard shortcut? In Maya it's ALT+Z.
Thanks

Thanks, it's great!
The black background does the trick (almost), but "Hidden Line Invisible" is not available inside the openGL render options node, so I kept "hidden line ghost". In the viewport, "Hidden Line Invisible" is not what I'm looking for anyway.
Other questions :
- In the Out context, I use an openGL node. Is there a way to have this node available inside the Stage context?
- This openGL node is not like the usual render options node: I can't chose the PNG format. And there's no "skip rendered frames". It may be time for Sidefx to update this nde.
- I just read about Storm. Do you think I can use this Open GL render engine to get a "hidden line ghost" aspect?
Thanks!
G

Hello, I want to render like in the "hidden line ghost" viewport display mode.
I'm using Karma and the Stage context.
I tried different things, nothing works so far...
Any clue???
Thanks

Well I used "Command Line Tools" from the launcher and typed mplay and nothing popped up. I still believe an icon in the start menu is quicker.
EDIT 1 : just after I sent this message it popped up! So it took about a full minute to appear!
EDIT 2 : merry Xmas

Thanks.
But it would be nice if the installer would add icons inside the start menu as it used to do with previous versions of Houdini.
Now I have to search my hard drive for these 2 executables and pin them to the start menu. The bin folder is full of exe's. Hopefully you told me the name of the 2 exe's, otherwise I would have to try them one by one!
Same problem with Houdini 19's launcher [www.sidefx.com]!

After installing Houdini 19's launcher, it does not show up in the start menu, in the Sidefx program group.
One needs to find it in the hard drive and pin it to start.

I used the launcher to install Hou 19 and there's no option to install Mplay as well, what gives?
Same thing for the geometry viewer.

Well thanks but I can't ignore them when the GUI is all messed up.
I tried adding this in the Houdini.env file, but it still doesn't work:
HOUDINI_OCL_DEVICETYPE=CPU
HOUDINI_OCL_VENDOR=Intel(R) Corporation

Well I know Hou isn't compatible with Intel GPU's but is there any setting I could change to make it work??
When I start Hou I get this console message :
Could not create OpenCL device of type (HOUDINI_OCL_DEVICETYPE): GPU on platform vendor (HOUDINI_OCL_VENDOR): Intel(R) Corporation.
Falling back to built-in CPU OpenCL driver (see HOUDINI_USE_HFS_OCL)

AHAH thanks for your perseverance.
NOPE it's still not what I'm looking for. I want to select edges then subdivide them in a single keyboard shortcut then dragging the positions of the new edges.
If I need to add the new edges manually by clicking several times, it's not what I'm looking for!
But thanks anyway. Perhaps Sidefx will add this.

Hey Igor! Thanks for this new video. I didn't know about this trick : keep the "S" key pressed, and when you release it, the same function is called again. Very handy!
Unfortunately the Edge Divide tool is not a real answer to my problem as you cannot choose the new edges location. I think Sidefx needs to add this possibility.
Cheers
