Hey everyone. I went through the HDK "Getting Started" tutorial. Followed it to the letter, and successfully built the "geoisosurface" sample. However I ran into a problem when I ran the sample. I ran the compiled executable with "./geoisosurface". The application runs, but the line "gdp.save("sphere.bgeo", NULL);" produces the following output "No licenses could be found to run this application. Please check for a valid license server host.", and writes a bgeo file containing only the text "NSJb".
I have the license server running on my machine. I can open and use Houdini as I normally would, so I'm not too sure whats going on. I'll post the specifics of my configuration below. Has anyone encountered this? Would this be a licensing issue, an issue with the build, something else entirely?
