I am trying out Houdini Apprentice and I am wondering where I can find some example python scripts that I can run?

I guess I should ask, does apprentice support python scripting?

Does someone have a link to the API or is that in the help?

apprentice supports python scripting, the HOM cookbook has a couple of good examples: http://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini12.0/hom/cookbook/ [sidefx.com]

To start a python shell, click on the + icon above any pane and select “python shell” -> good to go

Also check Python Master class, under Learning section of SideFx website.

Thanks for the link. I have found the cookbook files and I am able to bring up the Python Shell. The intellisense is really a nice feature of the shell.
