I have a mesh with two UV sets, UV1 and UV2.
I export it as alembic, then import the same alembic back into houdini.
The imported alembic now have same UV on both UV sets, means both sets are UV1, and UV2 is missing…
Could anyone help? thanks.

Looks like a bug in Alembic. Just use .bgeo.sc file extension instead of .abc .
Using Houdini Indie 20.0 Ubuntu 64GB Ryzen 16 core. nVidia 3050RTX 8BG RAM.

You might try exporting separate alembic files for each UV set, then consolidate them in Maya

Yes I'm having the same problem, using a new boolean sop and when I export alembic animation out of houdini into Maya theres some random uv's missing on frames of the animation, really crap. Anyone got any ideas?

Promote point attribute “uv” to vertex attribute. Just ran into this problem today. This fixed the export to alembic.

I also encountered a similar problem.
In `rop_alembic -> Geometry -> Additional UV Attributes` add `uv*`.
This way all uv can be output to the abc file.
