I'm new to Houdini and have question about Engine version licencing. Let's say, I have created something in Houdini Apprentice (or Education) version and saved it in .hdanc format. Can I import it to Unreal Engine 4 with Houdini Engine Education licence?

I would like to know about this too. I feel like the licensing scheme has gotten so convoluted in recent years that even some sideFX employees aren't totally sure.

there should really be a webpage that explains the licensing scheme in complete detail! I think that would be good for everyone.

According to the faq, Houdini Engine can be used with the education license, so I think it's ok as long as you aren't mixing commercial with non-commercial licenses:
