Is it possible to use with houdini?
we played with it already, it is not Karma alternative at all, but anyway.

I am not aware of anyone actually trying this, but you should be able to build this against the USD headers and libraries that ship with Houdini. You may need to do some (simple search and replace) translation of “boost” -> “hboost”. And we ship with USD 19.11, so that ospray code will have to be compatible with that version of USD. But aside from these wrinkles, it should work.

Hmm, this along with several other delegates are available for free as well. I didnt think about the HBoost hurdle though. I'll have to take these for a spin and see how well they support the USD spec.
