Hi everyone,
In Maya, I made some Groups and Export all of them as 1 alembic date.
And when I read that date in Houdini, can I assign shader per Group?
Also when I made some Shading Group in Maya and export that and read in Houdini, can I assign shader per Shading Group which made in Maya?
Could anyone tell me if you know.

Using alembic packed disk primitives, a material can be assigned per prim (per Maya shape). I don't recommend unpacking, instead break the mesh up into more shapes in maya before exporting. Unpacking is a last resort, since it's more efficient to read the mesh at render time directly from the alembic.
Maya shading groups are not exported as part of an alembic, so will have no bearing downstream.
