hello,

i run into a problem where houdini doesnt do the autosave anymore. after creating a new project and saving the requiered “backup” folder is also created but then a error message pops up: unably to create backup directory: ../..XXX. it is pointing to the newly created folder but doesnt make backups. can somebody help me out? this problem occured randomly yesterday and i dont know why and how to fix it

Try using File/Set Project.
I believe this sets the $JOB variable to point to that location.

Also, check the obvious. Do you have any free disk space?
