MacOS and the Labs Substance Material on MacOS

Hello,

I'm having a problem with the Labs substance_material node on MacOS in 18 and 18.5, and since I can't find any more information about it (and tech support is surprised it doesn't work) I want to see if it's just me.

When I attempt to use the substance_material node, my object either doesn't render, or I get random pixel garbage instead of a recognizable texture. If I dive into the node's copnet, the issue appears to be that the data from the .SBSAR file is being corrupted as it's read into the substance node there.

I'm running Houdini on an iMac Pro (Big Sur) with an officially supported GPU and 128GB RAM. As well as a 2019 MacBook Pro (Catalina) with 32GB RAM that also has an officially supported GPU.

Of course my Win10 machine (GeForce 1080ti) displays the material perfectly.

So does the substance_material work on anyone's Mac?
