KineFX Help Needed

Im trying to learn more about the KineFX rigging system. Ive set up Ik chains & control geo but right now im stumped. Im trying to set up a Parent constraint similar to blenders "child of" constraint where one IK hand follows the others transform. Looking at the docs they make the set up seem very straight forward but when trying to do the same thing in my test rig I cannot get the results I desire. I need some assistance. Im not that good with vops but I understand programming, just having a hard time speaking fluent houdini so she's not complying. Right now Im getting the point transform of both the child (left hand) & parent (right hand) points and setting the right hand as the new parent and then setting the transform. Any tips that could help me solve this
