White water looks too diffuse and smokey

Hi !
I'm working on a flip scene for the first time, and used the whitewater shelf tool.
The emission is fine and enough for what I want, my only issue is the look when I render it.
As you can see on the attached render, it looks too diffuse, and looks more like a thin smoke than white water.
I tried increasing the resolution but it did not changed much, increasing the density of the volume doesn't help either, rendering the points and not the volumes is not ideal either (doesn't look uniform enough even with a lot of points), ...
I feel like I've tried everything I could think of ...

Do you have any tips and tricks to get a more realistic white water render ?

Thanks a lot !

I assume you are using Mantra so inside the whitewater material, there is an option called Scattering Phase. A low number like 0.1 or 0.2 will give you some better looking foam. Also don't forget to increase Reflect Intensity to get the feel of wetness of the foam.

See if those improved the look.
